Craft will be open on Valentine’s day from 5:30pm and will serve a five course tasting menu from Thomas Greig to all guests.
We start off with Tempura Cornish oyster, with rapeseed oil, Craft Ponzu sauce and some cured cucumber, then From Celtic in Penzance, the freshest scallops; cooked with curry salt and served with a crab shell veloute.
HG Walter has provided us with some of the best lamb in the UK – we’ll remove the saddle, confit the belly and pan sear the cannon, serving alongside smoked British quinoa from Hodmedod’s and a roast chicken sauce.
We finish with our house chocolate espuma dessert, accompanied with hazelnuts, orange and a smoked bacon ice cream.
For the vegan or vegetarian in you, we’re using a king oyster mushroom with our ponzu. Then serving a curry salt squash fondant with a Cavolo Nero and pumpkin seed crunch, and tarragon emulsion. There’s a BBQ leek , seared on our open wood grill with quince and British quinoa, and forced Yorkshire rhubarb, oat milk ice cream and a rapeseed oil cake to finish.
