Dave Broom presents a special tasting of Suntory whisky, with canapés from Craft London

Saturday 9th December, 2-3pm

5 whiskies & 5 canapés – £25 per person

We’ve hit upon a bit of good luck and just in time for the festive season.  Renowned whisky expert, journalist, writer and ambassador Dave Broom is joining us at Craft London next Saturday 9th December to present Suntory Japanese Whisky.

Dave is currently touring the UK with his latest book entitled Way of Whisky and will present five serves from the Suntory collection alongside paired snacks from the Craft kitchen.

Suntory has been pioneering the art of Japanese whisky since the 1920s and the likes of Hibiki and Yamazaki have since become world famous brands in their own right.

This is a huge coup for us – and a great treat for our own fantastic Bar manager David – but we appreciate it’s a little late notice so we’re offering all five whisky serves plus the paired snacks from the restaurant for just £25per person plus a small booking fee.

Suntory Chita (Highball)

Jerusalem artichoke, house-made ewe’s curd & cobnut

Hakusha 12yr

Razor clams, leek emulsion & spring onion

Yamazaki 12yr

Duck liver parfait, rosehip

Hibiki Harmony

Slow cooked pork shoulder brined in marmite & treacle, cocoa nib broth

Hibiki 21

The event starts at 2pm and will take place in our rooftop bar.  For all bookings please contact us on 020 8465 5910 or book online here

A monthly feasting dinner at Craft London

FEAST #7.  “Scotland”

in celebration of St Andrew’s Day, Thursday 30th November

make a booking online

Scotland is home to some of the finest produce in the British Isles and we’re delighted to cook a proper St Andrew’s Day feast on the 30th November.

We’re curing our own salmon, grilling the best hand-dived scallops from the Northern Isles, smoking haddock to make Cullen Skink, roasting wild duck – served with game gravy and foraged greens and spiking some oats with a touch of Scotch whisky.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Scotland and toast the beginning of the festive season.  We’ll have plenty of wines to choose from and a special guest supplying a few extra drams on the night too…

Craft Gravalax

Scottish Girolles

Hay Baked Celeriac Tart

Cullen Skink

Grilled Scallop, Nettle, Seaweed & Dill

Mallard, Red Currant, Parfait, Pine & Game Gravy

Oat Pudding & Whisky Prunes

It’s just £45pp and we’ll open from 6:30pm.

For the last two years, Stevie Parle and the team have been smoking, pickling and curing, we’ve had our first honey harvest and the Kitchen Gardens are fully up and running. Now it’s time for a new project: Thursday FEASTS.

Each month we’re joining forces with great British suppliers or top chefs to create a unique one-off menu with wine pairings, cocktails made using homemade ingredients and new cheeses from our suppliers at Neal’s Yard.
