Self-professed sommALEier, Guardian writer and all-round beer enthusiast, Melissa Cole will guide us through  5 craft beers here at Craft in the upstairs bar – all paired with bespoke snacks from the kitchen.

We’ll have discounted copies of Melissa’s latest book (The Little Book of Craft Beer) available to purchase and to get signed, and of course you’ll get the chance to sink a few ales with Melissa too – no doubt our Dave will be on hand as well.

It’s just £25 to include the beers, food and Melissa’s talk – event starts from 2p, but we’re opening the bar at 1pm

Scotland is home to some of the finest produce in the British Isles and we’re delighted to cook a proper St Andrew’s Day feast on the 30th November.

We’re curing our own salmon, grilling the best hand-dived scallops from the Northern Isles, smoking haddock to make Cullen Skink, roasting wild duck – served with game gravy and foraged greens and spiking some oats with a touch of Scotch whisky.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Scotland and toast the beginning of the festive season.  We’ll have plenty of wines to choose from and a special guest supplying a few extra drams on the night too…

For the last two years, Stevie Parle and the team have been smoking, pickling and curing, we’ve had our first honey harvest and the Kitchen Gardens are fully up and running. Now it’s time for a new project: Thursday FEASTS.

Each month we’re joining forces with great British suppliers or top chefs to create a unique one-off menu with wine pairings, cocktails made using homemade ingredients and new cheeses from our suppliers at Neal’s Yard.
